AMS(2½-6岁)儿童早期教育课程包括了351个小时的强化学习。我们ASCMC是亚洲第一家独立采取线上线下相结合授课方式的AMS培训中心, 极大地缓解了学员学习和工作时间相冲突的问题。暑期(2½-6岁)班网上学时172小时,面授课程193小时: 秋季(2½-6岁)班网上学时143小时,面授课程122小时。另外,还需要完成36小时的班级观察和年课程计划(实习期进行)。
The Advanced Study Center for Montessori Community Early Childhood Course of Study consists of 351 hours of intensive academic preparation. The method of delivery is hybrid format. On-line Learning will deliver 172 hours for Summer cohort. and 193 hours for Fall cohorts while In-residence Learning (face-to-face learning) will deliver 143 hours and 122 hours, respectively. In addition, The remaining 36 hours for In-class Observation and Yearlong Project will be completed during practicum.

The adult learner will examine historical and contemporary educational theories as to the influence that each has had on current Early Childhood practices. The adult learner will take part in an in-depth investigation of the educational philosophy developed by Dr. Maria Montessori.

This course will provide adult learners with knowledge and understanding of the theories of Child Development and how they relate to early childhood education and Montessori education, in particular. Adult learners will explore the classic and current theories of Child Development and the current research in the area.

The theoretical principles will be explored through the concrete materials of the sensorial curriculum. Developing the theoretical understanding and the practical skills to plan and implement a range of sensorial activities that serve to awaken, develop and refine the senses, to facilitate cognitive development, and lay the foundation for the child's intellectual studies.

This course builds on the theoretical principles introduced in Practical Life and Sensorial and expands the knowledge of integrated mathematics curriculum. This observation course is made up of two parts. The first part is comprised of lecture hours followed by school observations. The school observations will provide the adult learner with an opportunity to visit a variety of Montessori environments. A year-long project consisting of research of a culture group of the student's choice is required. Students will have the opportunity to develop their skills as a Montessori lead teacher as her/his knowledge and understanding of the theory and practical applications expand. Students will, over the year, be taking on a more active role within the classroom environment taking on responsibilities that will include observation; curriculum planning; presentations; monitoring and recording of children's development; and classroom management skills.
